It’s that time of year again to gather together to raise funds for the scientists at Van Andel Institute. This amazing group of humans (that I have had the honor of meeting) are working hard to find the next treatment plan and maybe even a cure for breast cancer. If you have time and space in your schedule to join us in person in the early morning of October 9th that would great. If making a donation and joining us “virtually” works better for you that is awesome!. I just put together our team named after a turtle since we all want my disease to slow down as much as it can. The turtle has become a beloved symbol for my friends and family over the past few year.
Following this link will get you registered. You do not need to make your own team. You do not need to join Team Buzz. You should join “Team Turtle – The Sikma’s” when prompted. You do not have to make an extra donation unless you want to, just put 0.00 into the text box. 100% of your $25 registration fee goes directly to Van Andel. If you have any trouble, let me know. Just a note: To get a race shirt as part of your registration you need to join before this Saturday, Sept 25th.
